Golf travel bags

can anyone recommend a good padded travel golf bag to take on flights? Preferably a practical one?

I have seen people bubble wrap the golf clubs and then the outside bag too.

The Club Glove bags are as good as you can get. Not 100% sure about availablility in the Uk. If you go to a local major golf shop they should have some. Most of the major club manufacturers produce one. To be honest although they may cost up to £80 they are well worth the cost to protect your clubs.

Well, it's not to protect our clubs (never even played golf), but to protect our tripods.
Bought a bag yesterday, arrived today. It's massive! Tripods will be in their tripod bags, wrapped into bubble wrap and then into the golf bag. That should hopefully keep them safe.
