Hi everyone, I am new to these boards and I'm hoping someone can help me. We are staying at Pop Century for our next trip to Disney and we are not renting a car. My husband would like to golf at a few of the Disney courses,so, I was wondering if anyone knows if Pop provides complimentary transportation to the courses or will he need to take a taxi? Thanks so much for your help!

When we stayed at POR several years ago with another family, the guys played golf one day. I believe they just had the concierge people (now at all resorts) make arrangements for their transportation to the golf course. I believe it was complimentary, but could be mistaken.

Unless it has changed in the last year or so, yes the Golf Courses and the Spas do provide complimentary transportation from all the Disney Resorts. Make the arrangements with Bell Services.

I just read in the Unofficial Guide to WDW that round-trip transportation is provided for WDW resort guests. You are provided vouchers for the free taxi transportation from your resort to the course. We always rent a car when down, so my husb has never taken advantage of this. Didn't even know it was an available benefit until I read my 2006 guide. Happy golfing to your husband. Birdies and pars! :)

I played in March. Vouchers are in effect for persons staying on site. Contact the bell desk and they will set you up.
The tip is included. Although, I would have tipped the driver extra had he put my bag in the trunk. If they are playing 2 or more times, you can leave the clubs at the pro-shop/bag drop. They will have them ready for you for your next round.

Palm, Magnolia and Oak Trail share the same clubhouse. Osprey Ridge and Eagle Pines share one as well. Lake Buena Vista has its own. This weekend the PGA tours best are playing on Palm and Magnolia. Both are fantastic. Those are the two I played. Magnolia has the famed Mickey Mousetrap on one of its Par 3's.

just have the pro shop call for a taxi - you usually wait only a few minutes for one to arrive. The pro shop will give you a voucher for the return trip - tip included. I have done this many, many times - it's a nice perk for on-site guests.

Wow! Thanks for all the great information! I had no idea you could leave your clubs at the Pro-shop. It will be super not to have to lug them back and forth. Thanks!
