Morry and I had a 7:00 am tee time at Osprey Ridge. It is Disney’s newest golf course. It meanders through swamps and wildlife areas. It is a very challenging course but a lot of fun to play. I shot an 81 and Morry shot an 83. Once we were finished we went in and did a reround on Eagle Pines. It is a lot like Osprey Ridge, it’s a little flatter and more open so it is easier to play. I shot a 77 and Morry shot an 80. We had a great time.

While we were out playing golf, the girls went to Epcot. They visited every country and did some power shopping. They even had time to try every desert in France, the highlight of their day.

That night, we were going to go to Disney Quest and have dinner at the Cheesecake Factory but every one was worn out. We ended up staying in the room and just having ham and cheese sandwiches. I love the flexibility that OKW offers.

thanks for posting......remember ......vacations are alot of work

Enjoying your report so far!. We will be at OKW in 50 more days and have tee times at Eagle Pines and Osprey Ridge. Plan to buy the DVC golf card. Is that what you did? How did you arrange the re-round? Did you get a discounted rate?

We haven't played Eagle Pines before so looking forward to it. Thanks for your post.

We were unable to get the DVC card because it was Spring Break. This is the first time this has happened to us. We are normally here in October or September and always play for 35 dollars. The re-round was no problem. We just went into the pro shop after playing and asked for one. I think that you might not get on the course you are on but if you are flexible they are going to get you on one of the 18 hole courses that are on the property. We did get a discount on the re-round, but not anything close to what it would have been if we would have been able to use the DVC golf card. You will enjoy playing Eagle Pines. It is a nice course.
