Eagle Pines shows a lot of Pete Dye's tricks. The course is relatively short. Pete Dye loves to scare you. I think every hole but one has water on it. If you can overcome the intimidating views, the course is relatively easy.
Some holes you can bomb it off the tee, others you have to lay up. The fairways are sometimes wide; sometimes they pinch in. If you stray too far off the fairways, you're in the pine straw. It's not too tough to hit out of. The rough is bermuda grass I think, so it may not seem long but it really does grab your ball. All the courses use bermuda grass as far as I know. I could be wrong on that though.
