Wow! They have golf cart rental at Fort Wilderness! We are seasonal campers in NH and love our golf cart!!!

1. Can anyone rent these or just handicapped people?

2. How much per day?

3. Do you have to commit to the whole week that you are there or can I rent it a partial week?

4. Is there time restrictions? If I want to do laundry at midnight is anyone going to mind.

5. Reservations required or suggested?

Hope this helps:

1. Can anyone rent these or just handicapped people?

Everyone, (see other thread about if you aren't staying at ftw)

2. How much per day?

About $50 a day give or take

3. Do you have to commit to the whole week that you are there or can I rent it a partial week?

Can rent it by the day or by the week.

4. Is there time restrictions? If I want to do laundry at midnight is anyone going to mind.

If its a rental, its electric, and you won't bother anyone. If you bring your own, and it is loud, most would appreciate it if you were courtious and observe the quiet time.

5. Reservations required or suggested?

Suggested

Welcom to the "DIS" camping boards, and enjoy yourselves, everyone here is very nice and helpful.

1. Anyone can rent a cart. You have to be 18 to rent and 16 with a license to drive it.

2. It's about $52 a day with tax.

3. You can rent for 1 day or more. If you rent for a week there's a discount. Doesn't really make a huge difference so don't look for 1/2 price or anything.

4. If the battery is charged drive it whenever you like. I've been on my cart at 0400 driving around because I couldn't sleep. As long as you're not disturbing others I doubt you would be noticed.

5. Ressies are recommended. During the week there's a lot of carts around but come Friday they go quick and the "no cart's without ressie available" sign becomes a permanent fixture.

Ha Ha Rog, I beat you by about 3 seconds.... But look at the answers, great minds think alike... or is that great behinds look alike? :rotfl:

1. Can anyone rent these or just handicapped people? Anyone

2. How much per day? $45, I think

3. Do you have to commit to the whole week that you are there or can I rent it a partial week? One day or all days you are there.

4. Is there time restrictions? If I want to do laundry at midnight is anyone going to mind. They are electric so no noise to bother anyone but, there is really no parking by the Comfort Stations although there probably won't be any traffic at that time of night.

5. Reservations required or suggested? ASAP, the earlier the better!!!!!!!!
:thumbsup2
Man, there were not answers to this post when I started. :confused3

For YOUR sake, I hope not!!!! I need aerial photgraphy with a panoramic lens to even be able to know what MY behind looks like!!!!

I can guarantee that I have you beat on that one too. :lmao: I can see you counter at the bottom... way to go.. I really need to get up the nerve to have it done. I am handicapped, I have really bad osteoarthritis in my ankles knees and hips. It is really hard for me to walk long distances. I have made a couple of appointmenst to talk to a bariatric surgeon, but I chickened out. I am probably close to 450 now, and that doesn't help with the OA. Were you worried about the surgery?

Hi Guys!!! Thanks for information on the golf cart.
Probably won't get one because I haven't made a reservation. Its no big deal though... I'm sure my little one would like his "nite-time" golf cart ride around the park though as well as for doing laundry. Can't wait to be at Ft. Wilderness for the week!!!
