Golf carts at OKW

With it's wonderful country club setting, wouldn't it be a nice touch to be able to rent golf carts to explore the property at OKW?

Surrey bikes are just fine. Aren't ECVs available somewhere?

When we have stayed over at the institute, they allow you to rent golf carts (for the length of your stay). We asked at the rental station and they said we could rent one even though we were at OKW. Any time we wanted to head to the village, or a pool at the Treehouses or Institute we would tool along in the open air taking the path you describe. I an not sure why they don't allow golf carts at OKW, but the family really enjoyed it. They would probably have to modify the path coming into OKW (overlaps with the golf course), but it seems like it would be pretty simple. When we asked at the front desk, it seemed like something they had been asked before, but they didn't have much of an answer.

Yes, I think that would be great.....to be able to drive a cart to DD just like from the DI. Plus it would be nice for around OKW itself.

I think another difficulty though would be establishing parking and charging areas for the carts....there may not be room and it could be a significant expense.
