I'm pretty siked, we bought a golf cart yesterday! We have thought about it for a while but never had the right vehicle for one. We sold our Yukon and bought a 2500 GMC, it has a 6 foot bed and we didn't think we would be able to fit one. With the tailgate off it is a go!!! Its not a brand new one but it is in great shape. Its an 07 model we are going to try it out this next week at James Isle in Charleston SC. Then headed to the Fort on the 30th!

We bought our '03 a few years ago after renting for several visits. I just rewired for 4 gauge and am anxious to see if it improves things. I had a couple 6 gauge wires corrode and break, so it didn't work so well for a while. You will really enjoy having your own. Enjoy the Fort. We'll be there for Christmas.

It really is so much more fun having your own. Especially when you start adding your own little touches. Have fun with it I know my family does even if were not at the fort.

Get insurance and go to the DMV and get your SC sticker before heading to James Island. The sticker is $5 and does not expire. If your home owners insurance will allow for the cart, DMV will accept that also.
