Thanks for posting this, it is just a shame that so many don't read this when it is given to them.
I hardly ever see someone in a cart yield or pull over to give a larger vehicle the right of way, you usually see a line of vehicles behind the clueless cart driver, no wonder people have to wait for the busses.
I think people are missing the meaning of the rule about golf carts yielding to larger vehicles. You are not supposed to get off the road to let larger vehicles by. To do so is impossible on many of the roads. I had a cart for 3 weeks. It just says stay as far as possible to the right side of the road, not to get off the road. To do so would put you on the sidewalk a lot of the time or tipped over in a ditch. The rules also say carts are to stay on paved roads.
Is there anything special you need to do when you bring your own cart?
Before I found the "dis" I was looking at carts, and called the bike barn, they said that gas carts needed to have a "hospital" muffler on it for them to allow it there. I called everywhere, and no one knew what that was!! IIRC that is how I found the Dis. Looking for fort GC info. LOL
Disregard-Not sure if this will get answered on here or if I should start a new thread. We have a club car, will it be necessary to bring our charger, or do they have chargers on site we can use?
TIA
They are just electrical outlets. You need your charger.
Can you come up with one for some of the drivers, their horns or their stereos? For the right amount of money I can make you a hospital muffler.![]()
