Quick question ~ we’ll be at Disney all this week for my husband to attend a conference. And I just thought it would be great to visit FW for an hour or so on Thursday. :goodvibes Thinking it will be so much fun to check things out for our upcoming Thanksgiving at the Fort trip!! :lovestruc

Is there a minimum cart rental? Should I contact guest services about renting a golf cart or wait until we arrive?

Sorry for the late question also for the fact that it may have already been answered elsewhere. We’re actually leaving @ 5 today so not really enough time to plan or search. :upsidedow TIA!!

Nope, 24 hour rental is the minimum

Disney carts as Carol said for are min 24 hrs . But there are people at the fort that rent their private carts by the Hr most are in the 100 and 700 loops

Oh pickles! pirate: I had a feeling this would be the case, which I do totally get...just sad.

Any other ideas??

Can we park & walk a few loops? Maybe check out the pool? Or lunch here? We have the quick service dp.

Any advice greatly appreciated here.:flower3:

You could rent bikes for an hourly rate.

Also as for QS at FW. Theres not much available that takes QS credits. Maybe some stuff at a snack bar at the pool?

You could take the bikes over to the Wilderness lodge and get QS over there.

When DH and I went to Disney in Sept. we just drove around, they were more then willing to let us, it got our juices flowing to go, we went home and plotted:rolleyes1, I mean planned :surfweb:out our trip we are taking there in Dec. :)

hmm... they actually let you drive around inside the Fort without a pass? Weird! I didn't think they'd even let you in past the toll booth without a valid KTTW card - at least that was the case in Nov/Dec. Maybe something changed in between?

Hi. I have a golf cart rented for one day in December. We're hoping to move to a cabin but as of right now, no availability on our pin. Hoping to get a bounceback next week!!

Anyway, we have an evening planned at the Fort even if we're not staying there. We'll do dinner at Trail's End, looping, Campfire and Fireworks on the beach. When I reserved, I explained that we would only be using it for an evening and that was no problem. We ARE paying the full rate though.

So, technically you could rent a cart for an hour or two for $60.
