I'm not sure if this is the appropriate forum for this, but I have a question on golf bag storage. I know that Disney will transport your bags from course to course. What we are trying to do, however, may be out of bounds, so to speak.

This upcoming May, a group of 11 of us (only three golfing) are going to spend two nights at a Kadani GV, followed by a four night cruise, three nights at a BLT GV, then three nights at Vero.

What we're trying to avoid is taking the clubs on the cruise. Would Disney take our clubs from day two of Kadani (let's say we play LBV that day) and transfer them to Osprey for a round on our first day at BLT?

I guess the short question is how long between rounds will they do a transfer, and will they know (or care) that we're gone in between?

Thanks, everyone!

Ryan

Do not have a firm answer but my guess is they should be able to accomodate that. All that is happening is they sit in storage but I would think you could call the resort since the cruise is in between AKL and BLT or even better call Disney golf, they would probably take the clubs from the last round you play while at kidani to you next round while at BLT, provided your tee times are booked......if not then you would need to go back to your request being fulfilled by the resort and their storage?

I have already left my clubs and 2 other sets off site at another course (Celebrations) after the round becuase they would not fit in the ride we had back to the hotel, and the course actually had someone drop the clubs off at AKL after that employee got off duty! Pretty lucky and generous!

So if your courses at on disney site, I am sure they can find a way to keep your money right there! Good luck.

I have never had them store my clubs for me, but I can't see why they wouldn't do that for you, They say they offer free club storage there's nothing that says for how long, and you will be playing there again after the cruise.

If they won't store them at the course, perhaps you could see if bell services at BLT would store them for a few days till you get back.

I go several times a year and have been meaning to ask if I could have my clubs stored for a couple of months at a time. I think I'll speak to the manager when I go down in a couple of weeks.

1) From personal experience, YES.
2) We golfed different days, on different courses.
3) We only saw our sticks when we were ready to tee off.
4) They were
. . . stoed for free
. . . transported to the next course for free
. . . cleaned for free (we did give a $3 tip per golfer)
. . . put on the cart waiting for us before hitting practice balls

We usually do a weeklong golf vacation the first week of December and then another one the first week of January, and the past two years, we've managed to leave them in storage with BCV and AKV for no cost (except a very grateful tip).

Yes, I agree, have done the same thing. When I picked them up for my next round, which was about a month later, they said "We wondered when you were coming back!"
