Golf at WDW

Deba,

WOW! I would have freaked if I walked next to a sleeping or awake gator. Thanks for the tidbit. And Thanks for letting me know you were able to play without getting paired up with other people. That makes me feel better :). WHen I go down there it will only be my third time playing and I would hate to slow other people down and besides I would feel bad that I am holding people up and that would cause me to not have a good time. That is why we really don't want to play with others.

DH is one of those very low handicap golfers (I think his handicap is 2). He always goes alone and has often been paired up with beginning type golfers, handicaps in the mid-twenties or higher. He always has a great time-it's golf, the courses are beautiful, and it's Disney World. However, he says that often people spend so much time appoligizing to him for their beginner's play, he feels bad. Please, don't feel guilty if you get paired with someone who plays a lot better-Relax, have fun!

We love Oak Trail for several reasons. First we usually stay at SOG so we can very easily get out early and be done early so we aren't wasting valuable park time. Second, we usually get to play as a twosome as there aren't many other reservations for Oak Trail most days. Third, it is a challenge for my very good golfer DH, and I can play my game as fast or slow as I need to. Fourth, the scenery and wildlife are very good. We play the other courses, but truly prefer an early morning round at Oak Trail.
