OK, it's driving me crazy. Everyone keeps saying that goldfish quote... "So there I was, spitting on my goldfish trying to keep it alive." What's that from?!

I believe (I am not sure though) its from either a poem or a song. not sure which and the only thing that leads me to believe this is that I googled the phrase and it came up in a poem on someones blog. it couldve been song lyrics though. i'm not sure.

I googled it and a lot of people have it on their profiles and stuff, but it's just that one quote. I can't find the rest of it.
