Has anyone tried the reserved seating for the Electrical Light Parade at the Golden Vine Winery? I understand it is $53, and was told by the castmember that you get reserved seating, crackers and cheese, and a glass of wine. Is that really it? What is the seating like? How many people can get the seating for each night? Where is the seating exactly?

Thanks for any help!!

Well, if you don't mind paying $53 for a glass of wine and a plate of cheese and crackers, I say go for it. ;)

I have never seen heavy crowds for the Electrical Parade. Most of the time you can walk right up to the pathway, especially toward the Pier area.

The seating is above the parade route at the edge of the restaurant's patio seating. If you really want this view, I suggest PS for the Wine Country Trattoria for 45 minutes to one hour prior to the start of the parade and ask for patio edge seating. This way you get dinner and dessert for a lot less than $53.

PS - This advice is from someone who reserves Fantasmic Balcony seats two to three times a year; I don't mind paying for something that has real value to me. I think the reserved seating for the Electrical parade is way overpriced!

I have to agree with Macbaby on this one. I have never had trouble seeing the Electrical Parade.

We have done this before when Fantasmic wasn't available in 2001. The terrace is raised, but is blocked by the trees that are there. The view was bad. We eventually walked down the ramp from the terrace to see beyond the trees that were blocking our view. How they got away with this "reserved seating" is beyond me.

You had better eat something before you go. We had cheese, deli meats and black olives with our wine. This was definitely not a meal and we are pretty light eaters. We were still hungry. Portions were small. This may have changed, but I doubt it.
