Golden Mickey Ears

To go along with Disney's Golden Celebration, WDW and DL will be selling these new Golden Mickey Ears. What do you all think? Have they started selling them yet? Has anyone bought a pair?

They have been selling them at DL. I was there last week or so and saw lots of people wearing them. They are kinda cute. Will probably get the Sweetpea a set of ears as a 50th souvie.

I thought this was a joke. On my computer they look like a spray painted styrofoam cereal bowl, with 2 spray-painted "dessert" paper plates attached

Thanks for asking this question Ali -- I think they're pretty funky looking myself. Will they also be sold at WDW (with the appropriate "Happiest Celebration on Earth" logo) or is this a DL exclusive item?

All reports indicate that they will be sold at both WDW and DL.

The ones in the pictures Disney spray painted the regular hats gold. The sticker in the middle is one they have on rolls for CM's to use. They may be making real ones now and selling them.

The Happiest Celebration last 18 months starting in May 2005...no problem to get them in Sept
