Golden Limo... Brilliant service

I would just like to tell everyone what brilliant service we have just had from Jimmy at Golden Limos.

I have always heard great things about GOLDEN but he went above and beyond my expectations. We had booked him to collect us from and return us to the airport from our hotel and also to do a transfer from the Poly to RPH he did all of this and more, including an extra transfer that we had not booked
He collected us from MCO and took us to a store to get some beer for my DH which i only asked him 24hrs before we arrived..no problem. He put a DVD on for the kids and was really really chatty with me and My DH.
But his service did not end here......

We were staying at the Poly... after 4 days we just had to leave because the service had been so poor. Well i called Jimmy explained what had happened and asked if he could transfer us to our new hotel. "NO PROBLEM" he said

He came and collected us and did the transfer he was really concerned that we were ok and that our holiday had not been ruined because of the events at the Poly ...i then went to pay him. Nope..he would not accept my payment. He said he was passing anyway. Actually he was not he came out especially...so Jimmy "Thank - YOU" you are a real gent.
You offer great service, you have a wonderful limo, a brilliant reputation on price,...but most of all you have a very very kind heart.

Thank you ..it was an honour to travel with you..and yep we will be using Golden limo next time...actually every time

We loved Jimmy too! I even gave his name & number to our local AAA office ( so they could refer him to other customers). He definately goes the extra mile... literally in your case! It's wonderful to see some one who really enjoys their job. He is definately the icing on the cake for our Disney trips. Sorry about you Poly experience.

Did you book online or call? Do they have a web site? How were their prices?
We have used TIffany in the past and based on negative comments we are looking for soemthing else.

We are booked for the first time with Jimmy in 11 days! I have heard such wonderful things, and cannot wait to meet him.
We have never ridden in a limo before, so we are really looking forward to this special treat we've given ourselves.

Plus, my sons do not know about the limo, so it will be a huge surprise for them!

Although we haven't riden with Jimmy yet, I can tell you that I am impressed with his service.

When I orginially called him he was very nice and even called me back to clarify one of our requests.

Later, being the anal retentive trip planner that I am, I sent an confirming email of our request. He called me back twice to assure me that he had our requests and to clarify a mistake I made in the email!!! That is attention to detail!

We look forward to using Jimmy in December for our visit and I will let post our experience!

I am another one also impressed with Jimmy. I spoke with him on the phone several times yesterday and he was so patient and helpful with any requests or concerns. We will be using him the end of October for DD's birthday trip to WDW. We have used a few other limo services in the past but are really looking forward to using his service this time.

Add me to list the list of Jimmy-lovers! We will use him Friday! (OMG- I can just say "Friday", not "2 Fridays from now!") I have spoken to him several times and also e-mailed to confirm (another anal person!). He's been great! I can't wait to meet him! Since my kids don't know about the trip at all, they also don't know about the limo. They are going to flip!
Anyone know which grocery store he stops at? I thought it was a Winn Dixie, but there are so many in Orlando.... I wanted to look at their sales flyer online (how's that for anal retentive?)

I just have to chime in on this thread! We used Jimmy's services this August and can't say enough good things about him. He dealt with our large group and all the pieces of luggage that went along with us with no problem whatsoever. He has a wonderful personality and always seems willing to go the extra mile.

Just a little example of this kindness. We arrived right after Hurricane Charlie hit Orlando. He was telling us about the shortage of ice and how water was flying off the shelves in supermarkets. When I expressed concern about having bottled water for my DD (11 months) he immediately started loading us up with whatever water he had in his limo. I offered to pay as he had given us quite a few bottles, but he refused.

We will be using him again next year!!
