Hi its finally here leaving in the morning!!! How is the food and more speciffically the fish and chips here? and why are the showtimes not posted anywhere? Can't wait to try this

We eat there frequently. It's not the best place in DL but it has 3 things DS eats. The fish n chips are the best item on the menu. The mozzarella sticks and chicken tenders are just the standard stuff you can get anywhere. On the plus side you can get a sundae for dessert and there's always seating.

I would eat elsewhere. I always get ice cream sundaes there. The other food looks gross. I have seen many people return the fish and chips.

I love the fish and chips there. Of course they aren't "amazing," but they are pretty darn good when the only fish we have easy access to in our town is a McDonalds Filet-o-fish ;)

And the fries are a bit chunkier than McDonald's fries as well.

Oops, also forgot to note the show times are beside the outer doors at Golden Horseshoe. We prefer a table up top--easier to see the show without bobbing around, especially with kids!

I highly recommend the off-menu item "ice cream nachos":

We tried it for the first time in August. It cost less than a sunday, and was significantly larger.

EDIT: our order came with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream.

YES!! We always love eating at Golden Horseshoe. I'm really surprised reading some of the comments here. My family must love eating gross stuff! lol A lot of people must like it as well, because it's always packed and can be hard to get a seat. They typically have a very long line during peak meal times, so I suggest eating there during off-peak times.

Their chicken and fish-n-chips are great! We really like their fries as well. The portions are pretty big (as they are throughout the Resort), so it is very possible to split a meal.

We always eat here, and enjoy it! Fish and chips are really good, as are the chicken tenders. They have chili in a bread bowl too! Also, you can get a corn dog with fries, instead of a bag of chips like at the red wagon. I guess we like gross stuff too:)

Or is the corn dog outside...? At the window?

I like the crispy chicken salad. I get the fish n chips every so often but never finish them. I like getting ice cream there better than Gibson Girl. Lines are shorter and faster than both Gibson Girl and Stage Door. I don't like eating in there, though, because it smells like fryer oil and when it's full of people it can be loud and cramped. You can't get the menu items exclusive to Stage Door there and you can't get Golden Horseshoe items at Stage Door either.

We've always enjoyed the fish n chips there. I've had the crispy chicken salad and really liked it also, everything in it was fresh.

The crispy chicken salad is very good. Warm breaded chicken witha choice of dressings in a fresh salad.

Plus at the Stage Door you get an annual pass discount on ice cream. At Gibson Girl you don't.

They have funnel cake at SD and ice cream, chocolate cake and root beer floats at GH. Ice cream nachos are on the menu now at GH.

Only thing we've found there is don't order kids chicken fingers. It's only $1.50 less I think and a lot less chicken. Better to get one order of regular tenders to share.
