anymore details than what the booklet says? does one need to snorkel or get off the catamaran? I dont swim over my head
does this actually dock at a beach and people snorkel from there? is this good for a beginneer?
what caverns can be explored?

We did the Golden Eagle in March and you do not have to get off the catamaran but you can snorkel in waist deep water if you would like. The snorkeling was not good at all. Just to warn you - lots of people got sick on the way but lots did not. We went thru some rough water and it turned everyone's stomachs but coming back was awesome!! They serve submarine sandwiches and drinks-beer and champagne for adults and they sing YMCA coming into port and everyone is watching on the really big ships. Lots of fun!!!

The catamaran docked "near" the beach, but even though a short distance from the catamaran to the beach, I believe it was over my head, or close to it. They will assist non-swimmers to the beach.. They really load people on, so it's a full boat. Also, we had rough seas on the way there and a lot of sick people. Didn't seen anything bigger than a 3" fish with the snorkling, but saw a whale on the way there. THe ride back was fun :) Crew was a nice bunch
