Golden Corral?

I'm curious about their breakfast buffet, what would be the closest to Pop, or WDW?:confused3

This has absolutely nothing to do with WDW as far as I can tell. Why not ask over on the Community Board?

I'm sorry but I have to be honest and say that my family ate at a Golden Corrall near Disney last year and it was horrible! My two girls (aged 5 and 2) wouldn't eat anything and nothing was very appealing to me or my husband either. It was expensive too! We're not even thinking about giving that place a second try.

Even though I can't answer your question about where you are going, but I went to the GC in Zephyrhills, FL. I will say that, as far as chain restaurants go, it was pretty good. If I remember correctly, it was rather inexpensive; maybe $10 bucks a person. They grilled steaks to order. They had all your typical buffet dishes but it was very large. At this GC, they did all their baking and desserts onsite as they also had a bakery.

The Golden Corral is one of my families favorite offsite locations to eat at and we think the best location is at 8707 VINELAND AVENUE. Besides that here is a link to their website so hopefully it will have answered some of your questions. http://www.goldencorral.com/

We just ate there last week. We had already been to the iHop near Crossroads Plaza (disgusting), the Waffle House (not enough options for our group of 10) and when we walked into the Golden Corral and I discovered it was a buffet, I almost cried (We have alot of buffets at home, including a hometown buffet and I won't eat at any of them!!!! They're gross) We decided to stay, and the meal was great. The rolls were good and the food was way better than any buffet I had been to. To be quite honest, I didn't see any difference between the Golden Corral and a Disney buffet!! (except the price)

It's great you had a wonderfull experience over there. :thumbsup2

I like my son's assesment: "It's not very good, but you can have all you want!"

It's a family-style buffet, and of it's genre, it's one of the better of the bunch. I've found them to be wildly uneven. The one three miles from our house isn't bad at all, but one on the other side of town is just vile.
