Golden Corral and other buffets

We'll be spending our week long vacation at the Courtyard by Marriott (and one night at Coronado Springs). I've heard lots about the Golden Corral, so my ?? is:

How do I get there? (we'll have a car, but I can sometimes be direction confused)

Are there other buffets to look into. We'll have 2 teens, so value (little money) and lots of food are necessary.

Which Courtyard will you be staying at? If it's the one by Little Lake Bryan, you could probably walk...it's almost next door.

If you are staying at the DTD courtyard, it's a 5 minute drive. Just head out Hotel Plaza Blvd towards the Crossroads. Turn right on SR 535 and stay in the left lane. Turn left on Vineland Ave (Landry's Seafood is on the corner). First driveway on the left, shared parking with Pebbles restaurant.

Golden Corral is our favorite offsite buffet. Lots of variety and staff make sure evrything is fresh and refilled often. There are also Sizzlers and Ponderosas nearby that have okay buffets.

Thanks, Steve! We'll be at the DTD Courtyard and its sounds like an easy drive. gumball, I'm sorry that you got sick. Yours is the first negative I've heard about the place. I'll do a search when I get a moment.

Seriously, I would sooner eat at Taco Bell or McDonalds than I would at Golden corral. That place is disgusting

There are several golden corrals in the area. I doubt that they are all disgusting. I'm pretty sure there is one closer than I-drive.

And people get sick at the Disney buffets, so don't let one person's experience put you off.

Several people have posted very positive comments on Sweet Tomatoes, and they have a website. I'm hoping to try them during our October visit, or certainly during our "family from both coasts meeting at WDW for Christmas" visit.
