Gold to Platinum upgrade

We have to upgrade our APs to Platinum upon arrival in WDW Dec 31. I plan to do it at the MK gate & have all necessary documentation (blue card & passports).

We purchased before the last price increase. Does anyone know if the price difference will be between the old gold & current platinum or the new gold & current platinum?

If anyone can give me a dollar amount I’d be grateful. It’ll be a madhouse at MK that day & I’d rather know the exact amount. Thx!

Also, does anyone have experience yet in bridging the new ticket structure to an AP? If possible, my plan is to simply purchase a ticket from a broker that saves me the most money (no matter the days) with the intention of bridging? Does that make sense?

@Madame : pretty sure it's going to be the difference in price between the old gold and the current platinum.

@hayesdvc : @Robo should also be able to help, but I think it all depends on when you purchase the ticket and when you upgrade. Mainly because there may be a new pricing structure/expiration date structure in place....
