Hi all,
I'm the next in line for the fridge. I arrive on Wed 3/2 and hope to pick it up from bell services. The last swapper told me there was a coffee maker and toaster in it, but he hadn't used them. I hope to use at least the toaster and the coffee pot for hot water.

Does anyone know how large the little freezer component is in it? I'm hoping to bring some small freezer packs to keep lunches cold, and hopefully room to freeze a couple water bottles too.

Also, I'll try to bring packing tape as I heard it's running low. If anyone else who has recently had the fridge can think of anything else it needs, please let me know.

I loved making bagels for DD and I ,as well as, my flavored coffee without having to leave the room.

The freezer is definitly big enough for a couple of water bottle and freezer packs. It is one of the taller dorm type fridges with the bigger freezer.

Thank you for bringing the tape so far I have not had any reports of anyone bring it.

I spoke with Allison this morning and she has all my info so the fridge will be in storage until I get there on the 18th. I have already been exchanging info with the next two swappers after me so we should be all set!

Hi everyone,
I put the fridge in storage the morning we left, on Wed 3/9. It's got all of toystory's info pasted to the outside. We also tried to reinforce the box with more tape, as it's seen better days.

Bell services did tell me they don't give out any kind of ticket # to the person checking the fridge in, as long as they have all the next person's info (taped to the outside) they should be good to go. This is what happened when I picked it up as well, and all I gave them was my name and I picked it up just fine.

Fridge cooled and defrosted quickly. The small plastic freezer "door" part is wonky and came off all the time, but easy to put back on and our stuff froze just fine. Hint - don't put fruit on the top fridge shelf, our's froze since it was so cold! The toaster works fine. And I used the coffee maker for hot water and it worked fine too. I added about a dozen+ paper plates and a few disposable plastic containers in there too.

Here are the items that people before me had left behind with it:
- Extra extra extension/power cord
- Spray cleaner
- Folder with several sheets of blank paper
- List with some of the restaurant's dining plan options + some park maps
- 1-2 markers
- 1-1/2 rolls of packing tape
- Random plasticware
- Several sealed bags of coffee + some coffee filters
- Random assortment of OTC drugstore meds
- One plastic spray-fan thingy

Even with the last-minute switch-up, it was great having a fridge for free. We had ordered four bags of groceries through Garden Grocer and all our stuff would NEVER have fit in a tinier fridge.

Just FYI, we checked in on Friday and were able to get our fridge from bell services without any problems. Having a great time. The fridge, coffee pot, toaster etc. has been a huge help. Thanks!
