No problem
Someone had posted about two other
dream maker packages a few days ago
but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

has anyone priced the gold package to see if it is worth it? Sound convienent but I don't understand how it can include all the tours and be the same price - what if you have children that are young and can only take advantage of the family magic tour - which by the way is incredible! Also - are the wl lincoln logs really expensive or something, because Cirque is very pricey so to substitute the lincoln logs doesn't sound exactly right. Also, do you have to take the UPH - or can you exclude your checkin/checkout days and get the pkg for less (I have heard that the UPH aren't a great deal because you could end up paying for a day you don't use if you have a late arrival or early departure time. Lastly, that is a lot of food to have to eat in one day. We did the CP package and the Fantasmic pkg our last trip and by dessert time we couldn't touch it, so if the price of the pkg includes $$$ for all that food doesn't seem to me it would be a very good deal unless you are a very big eater.

I think for adults it is definitely worth it. I wouldn't do it for the kids though. Our pkg pp at the asmovies with dc discount for March was $1427 . Our room was 78$ per night x 6 =234 if you split it in 2. A 7 day ultimate parkhopper plus is 346.13. An admission to cirque is 76.32. The average tour prices range from 30 -70 dollars. One hour waterskiing $100. So if you do at least one tour, go to cirque, do 1 recreational activity. This would've cost you $ 806.45. Which would leave approx $621. You also have 3 meals a day, a leave a lebacy tile( not sure on price). Say you even take off $30 for leave a legacytile. It average about $32 a meal. One entree at WDW is usually around $20 on the average. if you add in a drink an appetizer and a dessert, figure your meal to be around $36. I think it is definitely worth it, but I am planning on eating at finer restaraunts and definitely doing some of the dinner shows which are a little more expensive. I hope this breakdown helps.:smooth:

What I'm curious about is how do they do the "packages" -say if you have one person that has an AP at the time and doesn't need the ultimate hopper? It sounds like to me that if you do this package EVERYONE that is there besides those under the age of 3 have to pay the "per person pkg price"- and then it's not such a good deal if one of the people in the room has an AP! (I think about this because I think if we go another trip this year with all of us- I'll have a PAP and wouldn't want to do a "pkg" deal to pay for ME to have UPH when I don't need it!)

Also that adding of the day you arrive and day you leave on the UPH isn't always desirable. I don't know if they'll take it off though. I can see why they add it- in case you wanted to go to the parks those days- but like someone else said... if you have late arrival and early departure you are paying for 2 days you might not use to go to the parks (any, or not much atleast).

Dansyr-you are absolutely right again!

If you golf a couple of times, do some wakeboarding
a couple of times, parasail, use the watercrafts and
eat at character breakfasts and sit down restaurants
(we are four adults), and go to La Nouba (absolutely awesome
-not to be missed-show) we found we definately made
good use of the package. (I think we calculated
it cost $45 (Basic DreamMaker) + $139 Gold add-on
over the 'room only' rate for an adult-someone
correct me if I'm wrong please).

There is children's pricing for this as well.

A question-has anyone used any of the
new dreammaker pkgs in 2003 yet?
