Any recent trip reports using gold or silver plan? I'd love to see how people have recently fared before our gold plan trip.

If you haven't already left for your Gold Plan trip, let me know, we just returned from our 11 day Gold Plan honeymoon and I'd be happy to fill you in. By the way, it was wonderful!

I am staying at WL this Oct on the Gold plan and am especially interested in any recreation, spa, or other special things you did or were offered.
Thanks!:wave2:

I'm going to try and get a trip report together this weekend. I'll let you know everything we did to take advantage of the Gold Plan.

I did post trip reports after our 8 day POR Gold Plan Jan. trip, so if you use search (Gold Plan/Anniversary Trip) you'll find them, but here's a summary of what we did other than eat;)

We took 2 tours, Keys to the Kingdom and Backstage Safari. We loved Backstage Safari, definitely worth the time and we'd do it again. Keys to the Kingdom was okay, I think we would've liked it better if we'd done this tour *before* Backstage Safari rather than after...

We went parasailing and that was fun. It doesn't take very long and is very peaceful (most of the time!)

We rented water mice once at the YC for about an hour and that was a lot of fun too. Take separate boats and you'll go faster. We wanted to try them at the GF or WL, but if it's below 50 they close the marinas and for the majority of our trip it was cold....

We saw Cirque - definitely see this, it was wonderful, completely different than anything we thought it would be, and we both loved it:D

As far as spa treatments go, they're offered in the Silver Plan (for wishes) and the Platinum Plan, but not the Gold Plan.

We were very happy with the Gold Plan - I think that to make it worthwhile for your $ you've got to do your homework and plan like a fiend. I love to plan, and DH didn't mind a more structured/planned schedule and we ended up saving over $1000 with the package rather than paying for everything separately.

If you follow this link it takes you to the actual brochure you'll get at check-in http://adisneyworld.disney.go.com/m...especific/eng/nontheme/tickets/F_GoldWDTC.pdf

If you have any ?s I'd be happy to answer:D
