Laughing Place has the DL gold mouse ears 
on sale for $18.38 here . I think they look fairly "funky" and wouldn't mind adding a pair to my "collection."
I have no plans for a trip to DL during the 50th -- but obviously these are for sale at DL in anticipation of the 50th with the DL logo. Are these available at WDW with the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" logo? We'll be there in March 2006.
But if a trip to DL must be made in order to justify the expense of gold mouse ears -- then so be it.
