Gold Mobility, super impressed!

So, we reserved a specific scooter for my aunt over a month ago and gave our arrival time with Gold Mobility. We got a message today that they will not be delivering it when we arrive at 630 pm on Saturday as they stop delivering at 530. Ok, not a deal breaker, but I feel like that should have been explained when we reserved. They will deliver at 730 on Sunday Which means no rope drop for us which is really annoying. Secondly they are completely sold out of scooters and they cannot guarantee we will get the model we reserved. I spoke to them in person when we reserved because my aunt has some severe problems with her one leg and it will not bend and she needs a specific bed/foot platform. We decided over the phone which would be best for her and reserved that one. If they do not deliver the scooter we reserved I am going to be very upset.

Not sure what i hope to gain by posting, but so far I am not impressed. I am hoping that they are going to honor the one we reserved and I will be calling first thing tomorrow to be sure.
Anyone have any idea on who we could use at this late date as a back up? Getting one at the park is simply not an option. A walk I could make in 5 minutes will take her at least 25 minutes. My aunt walking from the room to the bus stop will easily take over 30 minutes with her walker and she would be exhausted before we even got on the bus. Besides the fact she couldn’t stand more then 5 minutes to wait and her travel walker doesn’t have a seat.
I am very stressed about this.
Try scooterbug.com They have the contract for both the WDW parks and resorts and deliver right to the resort and leave it with bell services. I reserved this morning and it took 10 mInutes.

Are you arriving today? Just wondering if you'd post an update on what you got or did you switch the reservation over to Scooterbug?
 

What is weird is when I booked with them for October, delivery and pick up times did show up.

I too would be angry if I didn't get the model I reserved. That, there is no good excuse for. I hope everything turned out ok for you and your aunt.
 
However, the scooter is great. It's in beautiful condition. Very comfortable. Very easy for her to drive and put her feet on and off of her. One leg really does not bend at all at the knee so that has been great. This is a little bit them but a whole lot her!
 
We had an issue with pickup time changed (30 mins later) which would be a big deal, since that's when the driver was coming. Their answer was, it says in the email, the have the right to change the time. I suggest before noon (the requested time) and they said they will see what they can do. 6 hours later I texted them again and that's when they said 11:30. And the fact that I booked months earlier didn't make a difference.

To me , if I booked months ago, plug in our time, start building the schedule around earlier bookings. Not just say we have 12 pickups , make a schedule which works best for us.
 
If you're looking to try a different scooter company rental next time I'd go with Walker Mobility. I rented through Walker Mobility and can't say enough good things about them! Professional and friendly staff, driver was punctual for delivery and pick up, scooters are brand new with high end accessories, battery life lasts forever (I was all day at the park and still had half my battery life left over at the end of the night) and water resistant scooters.
