Gold Mickey Ears

I came across this picture, and on a different site I read that they'll be selling the gold Mickey Ears for the 50th celebration. Does anyone know if it's true? We'll find out in May I guess. That would be a neat souvenir.

They did a picture like that at WDW with CM's. All they did was spray paint the regular hats. They also put a sticker on the front. It a photo it looks nice but up close it looked bad.

These hats look just like those.

I know they'll have them at DL. There's a nice photo of them on the DL AP holder website.

They may be making them but I am pretty sure in those pictures are the "fake" painted ones.

I found a picture on another link of the ones that they are supposedly going to sell. Personally I was a little disapointed.

oh and in the picture 1at the bottom left hand corner is either a photographer or a video camra person thingy (can't remember the name)
and the ones with the mickey on them look great nice a shiny ears with a (what looks like) wollen base and i picture of mickey

Since they are celebrating DL's 50th at WDW as well, does anyone think they will sell them at WDW or just at DL? Hopefully they will look a little better than the picture, but I think it would be a great souvenir.

My parents are going to Disneyland in June, so I will have to have them get me one! I love the Gold Mickey Mouse ears,there so cool!
