this feb/march, I am going to WDW for the first time without my parents. my school's marching band is taking a trip there to march in either MK or epcot which is so exciting, but since this isn't my typical family trip, I'm the only one out of my friend group that knows their way around disney super well. most of my friends have been once, maybe twice, while I've probably gone too many times for how young I am. how do I help them pick fastpasses and which parks to go where without seeming overbearing? I love marathon days in the parks knocking out as much as humanly possible but I'm 99% sure my friends will be way more laid back than I am. any tips are appreciated. thank you!!

My DD went with her band last year and discovered that, because they were going as a large group, they couldn't get their magic bands until they arrived. That meant they couldn't plan any fastpasses until they arrived. So they went with a plan of what they wanted to ride and then, when they arrived, they sat down and did their fastpasses as a group. I think they had already set up MDE account and linked them so that they would be ready to go as soon as they linked their magic bands. It was tricky, but they had fun. DD was the only one who had been to WDW several times, so she gave them the list of what was a MUST and what they wouldn't need a pass for. They didn't get everything they wanted but they still got several good passes!
