OK, my DH and I are going in Dec. with our twins. They will be 2 1/2 almost 3 when we go. We have pretty much decided on staying at the Poly for convenience reasons. Although we have gone to WDW many times, we have never gone with children. We are a little overwhelmed at the idea of attempting this. Please share with me your experiences. I am most interested in how you spend a typical day. Please include restaurants that your toddler enjoyed, rides, shows, etc. How you handled naptimes and such. If you have any overall tips, that will help too.

Thanks!!

We also have 2-yr old twins! We stayed at the Poly when our twins were 18 mos. old (it was fantastic!). Like you, my DH and I had been to WDW several times pre-kids, so yes it was a huge change taking the twins!

> We took our double stroller from home because our twins are very comfortable in it, the seats recline, it has sun canopies, and lots of storage underneath. Therefore, they could easily nap right in the stroller whenever they get tired during the day. By staying at the Poly, you can easily roll your stroller right on and off the monorail, so you won't have to worry about unloading it and folding it up.

> Our twins enjoyed character meals! I think their favorite was Chef Mickey's at CR. It was great entertainment. Plus, with the character meals you generally have buffets, so you can pick and choose different foods for the twins. Also, kids are free under age 3 at buffets.

> They enjoyed all rides, really. You can take them on anything without a height restriction, which is virtually everything in Fantasy Land in MK, plus Haunted House, Pirates, Tiki Birds, and others. There are also little play areas in the parks where you can let your twins burn off some steam! We did the various 3D shows and our twins weren't really interested at 18 mos. old, but we're trying again next month when they'll be 2 yrs old. AK was a hit because our twins got a kick out of just looking at all the animals. We're going to try the various shows at MGM next month -- I think 2 yrs old and above might be a good age for the shows such as Lion King and Little Mermaid.

> There are baby care centers in each park with lots of changing stations, little potties, etc. They are nice facilities. I'd recommend using these rather than general restrooms.

> We generally don't follow a schedule while at WDW because it's too hard to adhere to with the twins in tow. Something we thoroughly enjoy doing is having a nice meal when the twins take a little cat nap in the stroller (if they happen to nap at the same time!). All the Epcot restaurants told us to just park our stroller right at our table. So the babies slept next to us while we ate a nice meal. Don't know how well that will work now at age 2, though.

Hope some of this helps. Enjoy your twins, they are so special! :flower:
