well we leave tomorrow can anyone help we dont know if its better to check in on line or wait till we get to the airport someone told us if we check in on line the baggage drop queue is longer than check in also we will be at the airport at 6 in the morning will we be able to check in or do baggage drop help

I'd do on-line check in and be sure of your seats. I don't think the desks open as early as six and a lot of people will already have checked-in on-line or done the twighlight check-in.

thanks for all your replys i have just rang virgin at gatwick and yes checkin and baggage drop is open early will be there at 6am might not go to bed tonight just as well watch the closing of the olymics will be too excited anyway.

We usually do the online check-in the night before to ensure the seats we want and then do baggage drop in the morning. The queue for baggage drop was long last year but seemed to move quite quickly.

The last night before going is exciting - too exciting for something as ordinary as sleeping
