Going to WDW Fri/Sat.- with possible rain, which day for MK?

We are going down Thursday afternoon before our disney cruise on Sunday. We will have 2days, one of which is our park day. The other day we were hoping to hang out at the resort (AKL).

Everyone says go Friday instead of Saturday to MK as a general rule, but it's supposed to be much cooler on Sat. (high 60s) and high 70s on friday(though scattered thunderstorms). also with a one day pass,we could stay longer on Sat.(no Christmas party).

But will the crowds be so crazy on sat.(12/11), that it's still a bad idea?? I read that last saturday was bad because of filming.....

Tough one..... I personally would still probably go on Friday. I don't think you'll be wall to wall mob scene this Saturday though (as it's still technically "low season").

I hope you're right, Kilee! We'll be some of the poor souls braving MK on Saturday, since that's dd's birthday and we told her she could pick the park on "her day"....send us some pixie dust that it's not total gridlock,lol!
