HELLO!!!!:cheer2:

I have always wanted to go to WDW and finally I am going to be able to go next year. We used to live on the west coast so going there was out of the question due to how far away we were, but we have recently moved to Tennessee and will be able to drive there. I went to Disneyland once in 1982 when I was 11 and my boyfriend went to Disneyland once as a teenager, but memories are dim and we know that WDW is bigger and more exciting.

Also, I am a Halloween addict and I am into older horror films, think Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. So, going to WDW during Halloween seems fitting. I have to wait a little over a year but I am a patient woman.:worship:

 CONGRATS on your booking of your trip.

I am going to book as soon as the 2009 prices are announced. I have AAA and I am going to call them the minute I hear about the price changes. I think that I am going to drive my boyfriend nuts talking about the trip constantly for the next year.

Crescentia - you need to attend one of the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parties while you're at WDW next October. It's an extra cost event in the evening at the Magic Kingdom, but it's well worth the money. Also, since you like old horror films, be sure and make a reservation for lunch or dinner at Sci-Fi Drive In at Disney's Hollywood Studios. You sit in these cool 57 Chevy cars in a darkened restaurant while you dine and watch trailers of old sci-fi/horror movies, almost like you're at a real drive-in movie theater.

You have come to the right place to gather lots of information for your upcoming trip. You'll learn a LOT here, and feel free to ask questions. Everyone is very helpful. The more information you have before your trip, the more fun you'll have when you get there. CONGRATULATIONS on planning for your first visit to WDW!!

We plan on going to two of the nights which should be a lot of fun. Originally we were going to go to the Universal Studios Horror Nights but I have read that it has been terrible there lately. People getting really drunk at the event and it being way too crowded to even see all of the attractions. The idea of going to a more toned down event seems more the thing. I like both cutesy and scary Hallloween stuff so I'm sure I'm going to have a blast.

One of the only dining reservations that we are going to make is for the Sci-Fi restaurant. I told my boyfriend about it and he said that we HAVE to go. LOL He's not that much into Halloween so the poor guy puts up with my insanity. ;)

I just made my hotel reservation and I decided to go with Pop Century in order to save money. We are going from Oct. 25-Nov. 3.
