Going to Universal/Staying at DVC Resort?

We just did this in January. We flew, so we used ME to get to and from SSR. We purchased a package for Universal through Dreams Unlimited that included transportation. It was super easy and convenient. Crowds were low, we didn't need fast passes. I think that they may have been an extra fee for those, but I am not entirely sure on that point. I would definitely do it again.

Can you tell me more about this package that includes transportation? How much was it pp? Was it for one day or two or ___? Is it on the DU website?? I just priced car rentals for our trip this summer. I know it's early yet but I was just curious. Best rate for 11 days that I found was still $542 for a midsize car. Hoping some deals come out later.

Yes, the package was on their web-site. We got the One Day/Two Park with Transfers option @ $85.99 each (adult price). We spent the morning at Universal, had lunch, and then spent the afternoon at Islands of Adventure. Crowds were low (were were there on 1/23), so we had no problems doing everything that we wanted. DH even rode The Hulk roller coaster three times in a row with hardly a wait. The Mears shuttle picked us up right at the Carriage House entrance at SSR. You just need to call a day in advance to schedule the pick up time. We had the online ticket option, so we just swiped the card we used to purchase the tickets at the kiosk near the front entrance. It was quick and easy, and we did not have to worry about keeping up with the actual tickets.
