Going to the World in September...any suggestions?

I'm going to Disney World in September for my 28th birthday (11th-20th) and I can't wait! I'm soooo excited. My boyfriend is making the trip with me. He is tired of me talking about it everyday.
Some places I plan on eating at are:
Boardwalk bakery
Boma
Mexico at Epcot
Rose & Crown Pub (For my birthday dinner)
Planet Hollywood
Avalunch
California Grill
The Hollywood Brown Derby
Ohana
The Plaza Restaurant
Any suggestions or helpful hints about where to eat, things I shouldn't overlook, off the beaten track attractions...anything at all...would be most appreciated.
After reading a bunch of threads I know I've come to the right place to get helpful info from the "experts."

Go to the Disney website and order your free maps - that way you can see where all the attractions are and mark which ones you "really, really" want to see and what ones you "might" want to see. We've already done that for our September trip & every so often I pull them out, look them over & start counting the days down....

Enjoy your birthday - be sure to pick up your birthday button either at your resort (if you're onsite) or at guest relations at the park. It'll be fun!!

My DH and I will be @ the world for our birthdays around the same time (Sept 13th through the 22nd). My 26th bday is on Sept 14th and my DH's 27th bday is the 17th. When is yours?
I've been to disney many times but never for my birthday so we are v ery excited as I'm sure you are too. Definitely get the personalized maps, I've already done this and they are VERY cool
Make sure to get an "it's my birthday" button @ the front of each park.
You can also get a specialized cake made for your birthday if you like. Just call the dining reservations line and order a cake for the reservations you have the night of your birthday. I'm thinking of doing this for my DH's birthday.

Talk about celibrating your birthday in style. Maybe we'll run into one another! haha. I'll be looking for fellow birthday pins while we're there

TAKE ME WITH YOU! I could be your personal tour guide since we will be getting back on Sept 1 and I will be going through withdrawl by the 11th! Just kidding...have a great time.

My birthday is the 14th too!!!! We are doing my birthday dinner at the Rose and Crown Pub. I'm hoping to get a seat next to the water so we can watch Illuminations.

I'll be looking for buttons too.

Not to butt into your conversation but my DH's birthday is the 14th as well. My husband and I are heading back to WDW for the 2nd time this year to celebrate our Sept. 7th wedding anniversary and both of our 30th birthdays. My b-day is Sept. 25th. We have ADR's for Chefs De France on the 14th to celebrate his b-day. Congratulations to all of you on your birthdays, I hope they're all magical.

Hooray for the September 14th birthdays!!!! Well, september birthdays at any date are awesome.

I've never met anyone with the same birthday as me so that's pretty cool that we share the same day!

I hope you get the seat you want for Illuminations that day. What a great way to celebrate your brithday

And to the PP...that's awesome that both your birthdays AND your anniversary are all in the same month. Celebrations all around.

I'll be there in September from the 15th to the 23rd, with my BF (and his parents from the 15th to the 18th). No birthdays this trip (mine's in June and we went to DL ) but our year and 1/2 anniversary is the 18th. We'll be at California Grill, watching the fireworks!

Happy Birthday!! We are going sept 16-23 and my son will be 10 on the 22nd. we are ordering a cake and decorating the room for a surprise. Be sure to get a birthday call from goofy too.
