for the 1st time. I know it's going to be hot, hot, hot. My question though is, do you have to wear sunscreen at all times. I know here they say not necessary after 4 p.m. But this is Florida right in the middle of Summer, so I'm asking my 'dumb' question.

I would start the day with sunscreen (even before 10) and reapply throughout the day every few hours until about 5. The UV index tends to be as high as 4-6 even at 5 in the evening and that can burn you. HUH and have fun. Oh, and make sure you drink tons of water! This summer has been particularly brutal so far and dehydration is not a good thing.

I know last year we went in September and it was very hot and humid well past 6:00 P.M. I'll ensure we are all hydrated and with full on sunscreeen past 4:00 P.M.

We use Oil of Olay for sensitive skin, because we can't stand that greasy feeling you get from traditional sunscreen. My husband burns easily and this works for him. Plus we try to leave the park around noon and go back to the hotel to swim and take a nap. After that we return to the park around 6 pm for the evening. Helps keep you from getting over tired too!;)

Just got back from a week at Myrtle Beach, it's not FL, but my kiddos definitely needed sunscreen after 4pm there! I'd go with caution and go ahead and lube up before going, just to be safe. Nothings worse than being sun burned and hot/sweaty from the start of a trip!
