Anyone ever go to the same non disney spot more than twice? I feel silly getting all excited about begging for DC next year. It would be my third trip but its someplace cool and moms never been.

I've been to LA twice and I feel I still needed to go back for the 3rd time. I still have tons of places to see and things to do in the area. :thumbsup2

I've been to New Orleans four times and would love to go back again. I haven't been since Katrina. Love New Orleans. :drinking1

I've been to lots of places more than once or twice! Disney, DC, Italy, etc etc etc. If it's someplace you enjoy, it doesn't really matter how many times you've been there.

D.C. is soooo interesting! My reserve unit is there so I go once a year for 2 weeks - 2 months. I LOVE walking around, seeing the sites, etc, etc.

We spend a long weekend at the same beach every year. In fact, we'll be leaving soon for this year's visit! :goodvibes

About DC, there is so much to see and do there! You could easily visit every year and do different things for each trip. It's a great place to visit.

We've been to Cocoa Beach almost as many times as we've been to Disney.

I´ve been to the following places on more than one occasion:

Denmark (mostly Copenahgen)
Germany, just about everywhere
Spain, various places but I keep returning to Sevilla
UK, London (probably been there 20 times)
USA: New York (trip in October will be my 5th visit), DC, LA, Florida

I've been to Oahu, Hawaii three times - that NEVER gets old! We always go to the islands for 2 weeks so we go there for a week and then another island for the second week, the other island changes every time we go. We just love Oahu so much we go every time.

Been to Las Vegas 4 times
West Palm Beach 6 times
Myrtle Beach 2 times

I think most vacation hot spots have enough to do that you can go more than once and there's enough to do without being bored.

Oh yes, lots of times. Every time we go to Florida we spend a few days at Daytona Beach. It's our favorite Florida destination. And here in Michigan we love going to Sault Ste. Marie and have been there often, and we used to rent cabins in the U.P. at the same resort every year. Once you find a place you love, it's always fun to go back. Sometimes I think we should "go somewhere else" but then I think what if we don't like it? I'd rather go where we love to go and know that we're going to enjoy it and have a great time.

We've been to the Outer Banks for a week for about 20 of the last 23 summers.

For the past 10 years we've spent the last week in August at a small resort in West Virginia and as we left this year we made our reservations for next year.....it's kind of like going to a camp for families....all you can eat meals, recreation included(except golf which is extra).....and the owners make you feel like part of their family.....we see the same people every year which is great.

It's like the Dirty Dancing movie!

Sure our newest vacation spot is Branson Missouri, it is just as fun IMO and a lot less expensive. For what it cost us to fly to Florida is the amount the entire trip costs us. This will be our third trip when we go for spring break in a few months.

Been to Myrtle beach 4 times.

Been to DC 3 times.

Been to Branson numerous times, but usually just on long weekends. I don't consider long weekends to be vacations.

That sounds like fun. What is the name of the resort?

Universal studios tons of times, same beach over and over. I always do the same spots when I go on vacations, its always Disney/Universal/Beach and/or a combination of the 3

Upper *****ula of Michigan every year for the last 12 years..I think.
We go there so often I don't keep track. All I know is, my kids love it there, we love it there and our dog loves it there!!

we go to DC at least once a year! DH goes down there for work 1-2 times a month and so we go along for a trip.

there is so much to see and do there. DD12 loves art museums and can go to the Natural History museum every single trip!!!

we used to live and work down there, so we also visit some of our favorite places.

Baltimore is so close, we usually spend a day there as well.

DH and I have been going with his family to Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountain National Park every year after Christmas since 1991. His family had been going for at least 10 years before that. We considered not going this year, but our kids were all, "We HAVE to go! It's TRADITION!" lol

So we're going. :goodvibes

We don't actually do a lot in Gatlinburg itself, but we hike in the park (there are still trails we haven't hiked!) and I love to shop in the outlets in Pigeon Forge. I can get most of the girls' school clothes for the next year at great prices.

Also, we just hang out together. We cook, play board games, etc. Now that the kids are older (the girls' cousins are 18 and 22 now) they bring their Wii and we play that too. It's great just getting to be together. :goodvibes

ETA - we also go to Gulf Shores in the summer, if we aren't doing a "big" vacation. We went when the kids were too little to do "major" traveling, and we still go every few years. We've been over 15 times, total. You can't get enough of lying on the beach listening to the ocean, and you can't beat the restaurants with fresh-off-the boat seafood!
