Going to the parks on Feb 5 or Feb 6

The 5 th will have Mardi Gras. cool would like to see. But the 6 th is supperbowl Sundat and in the past the parks had no croweds on this day. So will Mardi Gras bring in large croweds all day or just in the pm. Don't want to give up going on Sun to be in line all day just to see Mardu Gras.

I wouldn't worry about the crowds, February is a great time to go.

I will be in Orlando those days as well and I did call Universal's 800 number yesterday regarding front of the line passes. The nice lady there said I could buy them there once I got there. She also said it shouldn't be too crowded although Saturday and Sunday does get the local crowd.

Personally, with a five day pass that I intend to get, I think I might go late Saturday for the Mardi Gras, but I expect it will be very, very crowded. Superbowl Sunday though... Hmm, I never thought that it wouldn't be crowded. Do you really think that will be the case?

I don't think Sunday will be crowded in February. I think your idea of hitting Mardi Gras and then going again on Sunday is a great idea.

Hey, Harley!

We're arriving around noon on the 5th. Mardi Gras Day is actually the 8th (Fat Tuesday). This will be our 6th Mardi Gras in a row and I haven't noticed any trend on one day being more crowded than another. One exception was the year that Presidents Day Weekend followed Mardi Gras. That Friday was our last day and it was PACKED at MK!

I did read somewhere that Pleasure Island was doing Mardi Gras Festivities. I think that was on the 5th as well as a couple of other days. I don't really see it having an impact on the parks though.

A friend just booked a room at PO and said there weren't many other resort choices left, so for some reason the rooms are filling up.
