I camp A LOT( for work I take my camper instead of hoteling it) and take my furbaby with me. She freaks badly in storms so I leave the tv on for her and leave her out in the camper ( after once coming home to a baby with sore paws from pulling IN her kennel door to get out )so shecould get to her bed which she feels much more secure in. ( big blanket covered memory foam bed next to my bed between camper bed and wall.) For motion sickness I imagine a ginger snap(cookie) would work great and its more natural than meds. (I take ginger when I cruise) A place she can look out while riding helps too. We walk Fiona 2 times before we go to the parks . She is used to being alone a long time and seldom stay out late. If we plan to be out later than 7 and she is along, we go back to spend some time with her then go out again. I work and am gone for 10 hour days so she has no problem being alone that time in the camper. Each furbaby will be different. She has been doing this since she adopted me 3 years ago. She started out in a kennel and was slowly weened out of it so she could have free rein of the entire camper. Now she is queen of the camper. A few practice camps could be just the ticket to make you pup enjoy her adventures too. I take mine for a long walk first before everyone wakes then right before we leave she gets a shorter walk, at night same thing so she gets 4-5 walks a day...makes for a happy fur baby! Oh and she adores those non stuffed furry play toys! We play games with those and balls so she doesn't feel neglected lol...in other words she is pretty rotten but very happy and secure in the TT! enjoy your trip with your furbaby! The FORT is a great place for them to enjoy their vacation as well!!!
