Going to the Dr. this morning, ear infection!

DH is taking me to the Dr. at 11:30. I have been awake most of the night. My right ear is killing me. I have never really had an ear infection, maybe once. I figured I better get in, this started Sat. morning.

We are going to go out for a turkey club afterwards, then back home! Hoping he can give me something for it. Looks like I will be watching the soaps this afternoon and getting some rest!

I don't know why but I am very prone to ear infections. Here is the greatest new trick I have learned to preventing ear aches and head colds:

If I start feeling like a cold is coming on, or my ears are starting to ache, I throw a few drops of Hydrogen Peroxide in my ears and let it bubble for a few minutes. It has worked every time. I haven't been sick all year!

I had an ear infection a few weeks ago. It stinks having one.
The doctor gave me some drops and antibiotics and it went away.

Now it feels like it is coming back. I am starting to wonder if it is my new fancy shampoo that is irritating my ear?

I hope you feel better soon. It took a couple of days for me to feel normal again.

You and my para both and same ear too. She headed for the doctor this afternoon. Hope you are quickly on the mend.

What did dr say? My dad has a 102 fever and earache and was giving a Z-pack.

I can sympathize!!! I get at least one earache a year and have since I was little. No one understands how bad they hurt until they actually have one themselves!! Take it easy and make sure you take ALL your meds!!!

What did dr say? My dad has a 102 fever and earache and was giving a Z-pack.

Dr. said I do not have an ear infection! However he did say that the canal was very red and abrasive! He believe's that it is Sinus, and said for me to get some OTC sinus meds. He did however call in a Rx for ear drops! It still hurts like a dickin's!
