I know this probably sounds off the wall but I'm recovering from a knee injury (torn meniscus/knee cap out of place). I'm in physical therapy right now and will hopefully return back to work next week.
But we have two cruises coming up (June & August) There will be days on both cruises that we will be at the beach. I'm worried about walking through the sand on the beach and how it's going to affect my knee. Even though my knee is on the mend, it's not 100% yet and I'm worried about injuring even more.
Has anyone ever had to deal with this? I thought things were looking up for me in terms of recovery and then I go and have this thought run through my head. LOL
I'm not really a beach person that much (I never go when I'm home), but when we're down in the Carribbean you can't help but go in that water and enjoy it. It's so beautiful. So I really can't see myself just sitting on the beach watching everyone else enjoy the water. Have you ever found yourself in a similar situation? How did you manage walking in the sand?
