Going to SoCal on a weekend, should I go on Mon or Friday?

Hi all,

I am another one who has been to WDW many times, but never to DL and I finally get to go! I am attending a business conference in late April ( I understand that is a good time to go).

I wanted to plan an extra day to go to DL. Is there a difference between going on a Friday versus a Monday? It is my understanding that a weekend is usually never a good idea despite the time of year.

Thoughts?

Friday will have longer hours (open earlier/ close later) and a fuller entertainment schedule (fireworks). However, the trade off is, it will be busier. It really depends on what your wants and needs are. Personally, I would go on Friday and deal with the crowds so I could see the fireworks.
