I can't wait to see the Whoville!...the Grinch and the Parade!!

That's wonderful. I hope you all have a great time. My DDs have been begging to go since we got our newsletter but it just isn't in the cards for us right now. We are planning to spend almost the entire month of August in Orlando so we'll be there soon enough. Have fun!!!!

Be sure to check out the Extreme Ghostbusters and Blues Brothers Shows. Both have a holiday version going on...and I personally recommend both. They are great. :)

Most importantly -- have fun! ::yes::

Blues Brother's show? Where is this? Do you have a review on your website Flyfly?

Hey Fantasia! Those are my exact dates too - January 1 - 6, 2004. Time is FLYING by this time of year with Christmas fast approaching. Usually I'm all packed by the time I hit 2 weeks, not this trip though. I can't even begin to think about packing until Christmas is all over with.

Have fun!! Let's pray for warm & sunny weather the whole time!!

It's on/in Delancey St, near Finnegan's and ROTM.

IMGONNABE40! -- I have a review of the original show on my website, however, they have a holiday show currently. I have that review on this forum with my Extreme Ghostbusters Holiday Show review...I'll have to find that thread and bump it up for you. It's very fun and I was impressed. Look for the street in front of the coming soon Mummy ride...you should see a small stage that has a "Blues Brothers" banner. Coming from Twister, it's two blocks down.

I've always wanted to see the Blues Brothers show. I will check it out next time.

Has anyone been to the parade yet? I think it was scheduled to start a few days ago. Who can give specifics on time and place?
Thanks.

Macy's parade starts at about 5:00PM and starts over at Twister and ends at the Macy's facade.

One place that was a great view was at the Annual Pass Viewing Area, right at the end of the parade, across from Universal's Christmas tree. But, if you aren't an AP holder, there's plenty of room around it! But, the downside is, even after the parade starts, it takes FOREVER for it to get there...and you're waiting like an hour before start time to get a good spot anyway. So be prepared!!
