Going To See Alabama!!!!!

I'm sooooooo excited. Tickets for non-fan club members went on sale this past Saturday for Alabama in Chicago and WE ARE GOING!!!!!! I have been a big Alabama fan and wanted so much to go to this concert - it's their Farewell Tour! Not only, though, is it their farewell tour but.....

It is their very last performance of their tour!!!! Chicago is their final stop!!!!!!!

I have seen them once at the State Fair (and that was 3 days after getting out of the hospital with pneumonia - I was bound and determined to go needless to say) and once at Pheasant Run Resort which was a very mellow and awesome performance for them. And we had tickets to see them a couple of years ago but dd and dh both got very sick that day and we ended up not being able to go. So when I got the email that the tickets were going on sale on Sat needless to say I was psyched!!!!!!

So are there any other Alabama fans out there????? And I'm not a big country music fan but I just really like their stuff!!!

Great! You'll have a blast. I'm not a country music fan either, but since I live in Alabama, I have to be an Alabama fan. I've only seen them once, but they were awesome. I hope you have a blast!

I saw Alabama in the early 80's. They were great! Have a great time!

For years they have performed each month down at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville. I have attended some of their concerts there. They put on a great show - and are awesome! I have a lot of their albums (yes, vinyl! ) from the 80s.

You won't be disappointed - but beforewarned - it is a LOUD concert!!

Just a tad Kath. I had to be somewhere on Sat so I asked dh to make the call for the tickets. I was on my way home to pick up dd to go to the next thing and he called and said he got them. I hung up and was rockin' in my car!!! I got home and I was dancing around the kitchen.....now the bad part.....I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL NOVEMBER!!!!
