This year(december) my family is planning to go to Disney World. But next year we were thinking about going to Disneyland Paris :cool1: and then for my brother's first and my second time touring Paris. :thumbsup2 I really didn't know where to start a thread on this topic, UK boards? none seemed right. So sorry if this is off subject! Has anyone ever been, what are the hotels like, thoughts.......
Thanks!

I'm am jealous! I would love to go to DL Paris. My DH has family in Denmark and we are hopefully going to travel there next June. I've been researching to see how far away DL Paris is to try and maybe take an extra day or two and try to fit it in.

Have a fantastic trip :thumbsup2

Once just me and hubby we stayed at the castle not one of the main Disney hotels and found was great for me and gubby but dont think would have been so keen if had kids with me

Hope you have a great vacation.

Hi there,

We went last year and had a great time. All the properties at DLP are nice, even the non Disney hotels that are on the property. We have stayed at the dream castle (non Disney) and the Seqouia (sp) lodge. Remember if you go that Disney Paris is much smaller and wont take you nearly as long. The great thing is that you can hop on the train into paris and be there within the hour.

Have fun,
Kerri

Hi I have been a few times me & my mum used to go every christmas as a second holiday/birthday trip as both our birthdays are in December. We have stayed at the Sequoia Lodge & The Newport Bay. We always had a good time.
I am happy to try and help if you have any questions!! :thumbsup2

I've stayed in the Newprt Bay and Sequoia Lodge both hotels are beautiful. One major advantage of DLP is that you can walk to the park from your hotel. Don't bother getting a bus no matter what the brochures say!
The walk is really nice too.
DLP is a lot smaller than Magic Kingdom in WDW and the Studios are really small not many attractions so make sure you get a Park Hopper so you can go between the parks.
One noticable difference is that its dirtier :sad2:
I went to DLP a few times before going to WDW and noticed a huge difference when I came back to DLP.
The french are big on smoking :smokin: there are lots of cigarette butts on the floor in DLP.
But apart from that I love it! And Paris itself is gorgeous! Oh, watch out for the weather! It can get really cold in winter!
Hope you have a great time!
