is there a time when i can request a specific building? do i do this at check in..we really want to stay close to HH..we are staying in a GV..we have requested by HH area but can i request a specific building like 63..love that look over the 7th green (im a golfer)

most of the area near HH is now a specific booking category, so if you're reservation doesn't already include the "near HH" designation, it doesn't do any good to request it.

OTOH, i'm not sure but i think the 60-ish buildings are HA-designated (and not included in the "near HH" group so that the rooms in those bldgs can be reserved for those with special needs), so if the medical-needs types don't need all of those rooms, you might be able to request one of those...(?)

The previous poster is correct. Near Hospitality House is now a seperate booking catagory, so if it was not booked that way, the likelihood of getting it is slim. While the "60's" buildings are nearby, they are usually reserved for those with mobility issues. If you are in a GV, I might suggest you request building 15. It is right next door to building 64, and is an easy walk to both HH and Miller's Road bus stop. In fact, we have stayed in the GVs in building 15, and loved the location and the views. You get a view of that tee that sends golfers to the green that's surrounded by water. Lots of fun!
