Going to NYC next week - need ideas!

We're FINALLY going to NYC with the kids. Our son has been dying to go there now for a few years. (hes 7) What are some must do things? We're staying near Central Park. Any advice would be great!!

The museum of Natural History is one of my DD's favorites. Rockerfeller Center during Christmas week is a must. Top of the Rock is good, the he windows on 5th Ave. are great. Macy's window is interactive. You push a star and the window characters come to life. If it's warm enough the Circle Line is good. Half price tickets might have seats for Tarzan, Wicked or the Lion King. To eat my DD loves Hard Rock, Ellen's Stardust Diner, Mars 2112, Jekyll & Hyde's and Planet Hollywood. I'd prefer Carmine's or Virgil's for some good BBQ but our trips in are usually for her and this is what she picks. Hope some of this helps.

Thanks for the ideas!!! If anyone else has any more, feel free to share. We're planning on going to Rockefeller Center, Top of the Rock, Statue of Liberty, etc. Any other ideas would be fantastic!

Toys R Us, Disney store (of course). Another vote for Mars 2112, my kids love it. Even if you have a boy, YOU must pop into the American Girl store.

I always go online, get addresses, make a cheat sheet and also write the order of the avenues. (I can never remember)
