Going to my first "crop" tomorrow...sorta...

...well it's not an "official" crop and it's not at a business. It's just a little get-together at a friend's house. There will be 3-4 of us there, and the others will probably focus on card-making, but since I REALLY need to finish my Disney scrapbook that's what I hope to work on.

Sometime in September or November I plan on going to an "official" crop at a LSS...so this will be kinda my trial run. Any suggestions on how to make the most of my time, what to pack, and so on? I know the basic stuff...I'm just trying to think of the stuff I wouldn't normally think of...know what I mean?

Hey Neighbor! I'm not in the mountains, but I'm in the outskirts of Allentown, too! I would go through your stash and figure out what papers and stickers you'll need for that album and try to limit yourself to that stuff, so you don't have to lug everything you own to the crop. Make sure you have enough adhesive and whatever cutting tools you use a lot. Find out of they will have things there that are for sharing, like cutting tools or a Cricut, so you don't duplicate if you don't have to. That's all I can think of. Oh yeah, and have fun!

Hello neighbor, thanks for advice! Do ya know of any LSS besides ACMoore, Michaels, Joann's? The crops I'm considering are thru Kinnon Keepsakes (they're on Hamilton Blvd). I've heard of Memory Lane in Quakertown, but I've never been there.

As far as the mini-crop at my friend's house tomorrow, I'm still deciding if I want to take my Cricut and/or Sizzix...not sure yet. She's more into stamps and I know she doesn't have any of the die-cut things.

I can't believe I almost forgot --- I love your digi-layouts!!! You're gonna have to show me how to do them one day, neighor o'mine! hehehe
