Hi

We haven't been back to Magic Kingdom since 2001, and we are really looking forward to going next month!

I have some questions...

Is there a website that lists which attractions are closed during the dates we'll be there?

If the park is listed as opening at 9am the day we are going to be there, should we plan to get to the parking lot by 8am to get a good start?

If we go straight to Tomorrowland, will we need to get Fastpasses for Space Mountain or Buzz Lightyear, or at 9am can you ride both pretty quickly. Actually, we really hope to do each of those twice (we're only doing one day at MK and these are our fav's!).

Any advice for negotiating these attractions twice in one morning, most time-efficiently would be very much appreciated.

If it makes any difference, I really like Carousel of progress and would love to do that while we wait, and/or Astro orbitor!

Thanks for any help!!

Anyone familiar with Tomorrowland lineups at park opening?
Thanks!

When we were there during the Pres week, we get to Tomorrowland by 10am, got FP's SPace Mt, got on line for Buzz, (not too bad) then did COP, TTA and then our window for Space was up. we could have FP'd Buzz and did Stitch but we wanted to move on. We went to Toon town which was crazy crowded but who knew!! I think if you are early enogh, you will be able to get lots done before it get noticably crowded.

Have fun!!

Twice in one morning? ARG! Don't know if that will happen! Use FAST PASS to get on Space Mountain at least once. By afternoon when we hit that, the wait was pretty long so I am not sure of mornings. You may get through BUZZ twice - can't remember if we fast passed that one or not!

At the WDW calendar of events, it lists closed attractions. Though Timekeeper was not listed and it is closed -- I don't know if that is forever or just seasonal. Riverboat is closed just for the season. Someone said something about POTC but it was open in mid-Feb when we were there.

Carousel of Progress was nice to take a little rest on - interesting too but I was tired by then, put my head on DH's shoulder and slept thru the '40's - :rotfl2:

Funny - rode ALL the coasters and "scarey" rides in all parks but Astro Orbiter scared the SOCKS off me. My DH and I had to ride separately -- he was too tall for us to fit in one silver tube together -- and when I went high and tilted I thought I would DIE!!!! FUN FUN -- have a great time! I wish I was there now!

I would go to the main WDW site. There is a calander for the opening times and for closures. As for getting on rides multiple times, we did this and was really fun. I would suggest getting the fast pass for space mt first thenm head over to Buzz. When you get finished with BUzz the first time, you should have time to do it again. If not grab a fast pass for Buzz and head for space mt. The time limit for the fast pass should be open by then. They are close enough to eachother to ba able to 'run' back and forth a few times.

Either way have a great time!!

I would definitely be at the park gates before the park opens. The sooner the better. If you head straight to Tomorrowland you should be able to FP one ride and ride the other. The FP return time should be relatively short that early in the morning so you could grab another FP to either ride (Buzz or SM) to ride that a second time. Although that could all change if you are going on a EMH day and you are not staying on WDW property. There will already be crowds there then. You can check out EMH hours on the WDW web site.
