Going to IOA & don't want to get wet

We tried one once and found that it really didn't help all that much.

this would be a total waste of $5

We did all the wet rides in row, got completely soaked, even with ponchos.

After getting no result in the human dryer, we just walked it off (it was in the 90's though)

A couple weeks ago, we did Jurassic Park, and I got soaked pretty good. I was sitting in the front row, first seat on the left. We knew we were probably going to get drenched, because we got wet from the water splashing around after riding up the lift inside the building.

If you're not in the first row on Jurassic Park, you shouldn't get more than a sprinkle. I don't think you should miss it out of fear of getting wet. Duck your body down at the bottom of the drop to below the level of the restraint and only your head will get wet.

HA! This is exactly what I do on Splash Mountain! I'll give Jurassic Park a try but sadly I will likely be wearing denim in December so fingers crossed I don't get drenched.

What a bummer about the dryer.

If you are willing to spend $5 on the dryer (which I have heard at other parks doesn't work very well), why not spend a few more $$ & get the in/out locker at the front. Put a change of clothes/shoes? in it, do all 3 rides & then go change clothes. Then you can go on with your day & pick up the wet clothes on the way out. Just remember a plastic bag to put your wet things in. I think we may try this. We will only need it on 1 day to get all the water rides done.

Hopefully this will work well for us! :yay:

Definitely avoid Popeye. It won't even get you refreshingly wet. It gets you "let's pour buckets of water at your entire lower body and nowhere near your face" wet.

Jurassic Park is a hit or miss like others have said. It all really depends where you sit. I remember sitting in the back and just getting a light sprinkle. Don't quote me on that, though!

If it's not that cold when you go in December it's definitely worth going on Dudley Do-Right and Popeye. They are fun!

If it is chilly they will probably turn down the water intensity on one-fish two-fish in Seuss-land. Hopefully it'll be warm and you can make your dh sits on the outside:laughing:
