going to have a dead cat

i have a problem, a CAT. it seems a black cat has discovered our dog door in the back yard,only one problem i have a pit bull who does not like cats i leave the dog door open at night so old dog can get out if she wants but how do i keep the cat out???i am afraid some night i am going to wake up to a loud fight,my guess is the pitty will win. any ideas?? the pitty is a 4 year old male so i do not think i can convince him he now likes cats Derinda

I don't know what to do, but if your dog kills the cat please don't post it and make me cry.

I would call a local shelter and see if they can do anything about the cat maybe? Good luck!

Definately try to catch the cat and take it to a shelter.... or if it has a collar take it home and explain what is happening to it's owner.

I have a great dog, but if a cat came in my house, I think my dog would probably kill it (if she could catch it).

It's not your fault the cat is stupid and doesn't stay away. maybe try to catch it and take it to a shelter, I love cats but soem of them (No, not mine) can be so stupid

o.k. i stayed up really late last night figured i would squirt it with a water gun, but NO it did not show up until morning!!!!! so far my dogs have been asleep when ever it comes in. i tried to catch it but no luck,i think it is a wild cat. i need my sleep.this cat is getting old fast. my pitty is not mean but a cat in kitchen might be to much.one morning i woke up to a full size white german shepard sitting on my bed!!!!! seems my dogs wanted a new playmate,she jumped our back fence to get in,i took her home later after they got done playing. that dog door has been a problem at times.......Derinda
