Going to Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast

What is the quickest way to get from Desert Inn and Suites to DLH to have breakfast with Goofy and friends? I am sure I need to head down to DTD, but after that which way do I go?

Go through Downtown Disney to the hotels is the fastest way. From Disneyland drive to Harbor Blvd is half a mile.

So it is about a .6 mile walk but DTD is curving so maybe more like .7 miles.

Do the same as if you were entering the parks but go straight across the Esplanade and out the other security gate. Follow the path around to the Compass Rose, Rainforest Cafe and ESPN Zone. Straight on to the west is a path that runs along the south side of ESPN Zone. Keep walking and cross a little street. You will see Dreams building on the left and ahead is a tall building. At the end is an entrance to the Goofy's Kitchen.
